ADAM SINAGRA NON NEGOTIABLE!?

Adam Sinagra former University Sports (USports) Canadian starter quarterback for the Calgary Dinosaurs in the Western Canada conference, was a 2020 Canadian Football League (CFL) draft prospect. Not only was Sinagra supposed to be drafted in the CFL this last draft, but Sinagra was also supposed to go high or early in that said draft class. Sinagra didn’t only get drafted so early, they weren’t even drafted whatsoever. Okay so Sinagra was not drafted they must have been signed to some sort of deal right!? Wrong! Not only was Sinagra not signed to deal, but they also weren’t even placed on a negotiation list by ANY of the teams in the CFL! Which to me (Big Al), and to most other Canadian football fans, such fact is a shocking one! Sinagra is Canadian and qualifies for the CFL draft and meets all the usuals standards to be at least signed. A lot of CFL analysts were expecting Sinagra to be drafted and at the very least signed to any given team, especially teams that need help in the quarterback department! Hence why when Sinagra did not go to any CFL team, that very idea was shocking. Just today each team from the CFL revealed there top 10 negotiation listed players and most if not, all teams had a lot of quarterbacks on that said list. Sinagra did not make the cut for any team, not even teams that are in need of QB talent. Which makes things… bizarre to say the least and somewhat even disrespectful to such amazing talent. Sinagra played for a high-end team in U Sports football and in a competitive conference for football. Sinagra is also Canadian and finding talented Canadian QBs is rare for CFL teams to do but if you find a talented QB from U sports and thus familiar with 3 down football rules, not drafting them especially when in serious need of quarterback help is crazy and nonsense to say the least. Therefore, to not even make a negotiation list at all by any team is very much questionable. What even makes Sinagra so special? You (the audience of this blog entry), may ask… This blog entry will answer that.

First and foremost, Adam Sinagra passes the eyeball test with flying colours. So that alone should be enough to at least look at the guy.

Secondly, both the conference and the whole U Sports association has recognized Sinagra’s talent and hard work. In the year 2018 Sinagra was named Western Canada’s best male athlete in all of the U Sports Western Canada conference. That same year Sinagra was a nominee for the Lieutenant Governor Athletic Awards ceremony in U Sports. Which is an award ceremony for the best athletes in U Sports. That very year Sinagra was also awarded the 2018 best football player in Canada West U Sports conference.

Third of all, the statics prove Sinagra is an excellent football player. In just 31 regular season games time and starting just 3 regular seasons worth, Sinagra passed for over 8 thousand 300 yards and rushed for an additional nearly 500 yards, with a pass completion percentage rate of 65% with 570 completions of 881 attempts. Sinagra threw for 60 touchdowns and only 24 interceptions. He averaged over 8 yards a carry in rushing with a pair of rushing touchdowns.

Lastly, but certainly not least, Sinagra is capable of leading an offence. Sinagra and his team went 8-0 in the regular 2019 season and won a Vanier Cup in 2019.

Finally, the whole Sinagra not at least making a professional negotiation list to me (Big AL) and MANY others, including Canadian sports analysts is just odd to say the very least.

For Touchdown Talks Canada I am Big Al, take it easy and have an amazing rest of the week! :)
